Condemn to death

The recent death penalty handed out to Australian of Vietnamese descent, Nguyen Van Tuong have once again put the Singapore government on the highlights. Debates on whether the death penalty by hanging is indeed apropriate to curb capital commiting criminals. Though it sends out a very harsh reality towards the people of earth, criminals commiting capital crime still rise.

Personally I'd feel that it is important for a country to curb criminal offenders as the rising of it would certainly spell disaster, especially Singapore a country of only over 1.3 millions population. But the continued rise of capital offenders reflects the unsuccesfulness of the practice. Therefore I believe that the gorvernment need to find a new resourceful and morally upright method to curb this rising trend.

Killing one would send shudders towards the community but a way to stop capital crime is to find the root of it. Because once an individual is involved from the very beginning, sooner or later he will commit that condemn crime even without him realising it.

Certainly to condemn someone to death, isn't in the authority of mankind.
